NATTA President Mr. Madhu Sudan Acharya laid emphasis on purchase of ten new wide body aircrafts for Nepal Airlines Corporation by 2020 to meet the national projection of receiving 2.5 million tourists speaking on behalf of NATTA at a special function organized by Nepal Airlines to award the best performing agents at Hotel Soaltee on Sunday, the 19th March, 1017. He focused on the points that NAC cannot enhance the expected market share and the outcome possessing the existing number of fleet. Recalling the early nineties often remembered as golden era of NA, he said, the national flag carrier must refurbish itself and concentrate on capacity building by adding fleets and destinations. NATTA is committed to extend its full support and cooperation to consolidate the flag carrier for a brighter future of tourism in the country, he added. He also congratulated the Awardees appreciating their effort to promote the carrier. Hon’ble Minister for Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation Mr. Dilnath Giri gave away the awards to the winners and foreign representatives/agents of NAC.
