NATTA organized B2B with members of Travel Agent Federation of India (TAFI) and stakeholders of Nepal at Hotel Malla, Kathmandu on September 2, 2016. TAFI members led by Chairman, Mr. Ashwini Sharma, have been invited to Nepal for their AGM. Their trip was hosted by Nepal Airlines and Nepal Tourism Board and supported by NATTA. Speaking at the Opening Session of the B2B, TAFI Chairman Sharma said that Nepal had been unduly projected by many Indian media as unsafe due to the earthquake in 2015; and he found the reality just the reverse upon arriving here. He also expressed that he would make his maximum effort to promote Nepal and include it their packages wherever possible. NTB CEO Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, NAC Managing Director Mr. Sugat Ratna Kansakar outlined the scope of Nepal tourism and requested the delegates to promote Nepal for its competitive products and services. The program was chaired by First Vice President of NATTA and NATTA Golden Jubilee Celebration and 21st Convention Mr. CN Pandey. Mr. Pandey invited the delegates for the upcoming Golden Jubilee Celebration and requested for their solidarity of travel agents of Nepal and India.
