Executive Committee of NATTA led by President Mr. Madhusudan Acharya and NATO led by President Mr. Ashok Pokhrel held meeting on August 22, 2016 in Kathmandu about the issues and concerns the travel and tour operators in Nepal are facing. The discussion focused on how both the associations would go together to find a solution of the problems like illegal businesses which are being run without proper legal status, which are evading government taxes, and are working with unhealthy competition by degrading market value. Speaking on the occasion NATO officials unanimously agreed to extend their expressed its full commitment in collaborating for the success of NATTA Golden Jubilee Celebration and 21st Convention scheduled for December 9, 2016.
Both the associations agreed on ironing out differences, if any, with mutual consensus and on collectively dealing with other tourism stakeholders and Government agencies to address problems and bring a healthy environment of tourism business in the country.
