On January 11, tour operators of Nepal were together at the NATTA Secretariat to discuss several key issues affecting the travel and tourism industry.
The main topics of discussion were tour guide remuneration, transportation fare adjustment, heritage site fee increment by government agencies, and the new rule requiring police clearance for managing directors of companies for renewal of NRB permits. We believe such discussions with entrepreneurs will surely pave the way to resolving the challenges.
