The Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) is set to take the initiative for the construction of a tourist bus park in Kathmandu. During a ‘Congratulations and Felicitation’ program organized by the Tourist Bus Association of Nepal (TBAN) in honor of the newly elected officials and members of NATTA, NATTA President Kumar Mani Thapaliya announced the commencement of efforts to establish a tourist bus park in the federal capital, Kathmandu. “Discussions are ongoing with the Pashupati Area Development Trust to operate tourist buses from the Pashupati area. We are confident that the problem of the tourist bus park will be resolved within a couple of months,” stated President Thapaliya.
Highlighting the recent advancement in the use of technology for tourist bus ticketing, President Thapaliya expressed gratitude to TBAN and emphasized the need to establish a disaster fund to address problems in the tourism sector during times of crisis.
TBAN President Krishna Acharya stressed the need for TBAN and NATTA to work hand-in-hand to promote tourism buses, which are the backbone of the economy. He emphasized the importance of everyone’s efforts in making tourist buses well-managed, safe, and dignified. The program also honored the newly elected executive committee members of NATTA from its 57th General Assembly and 24th Convention.
