In celebration of the 45th World Tourism Day, the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) organized its 8th 5-A Side Futsal Tournament on October 26, 2024, at Dhanyantari Futsal Ground in Dhumbarahi. The event underscored NATTA’s commitment to promoting unity and team spirit within the tourism community while celebrating the global day dedicated to the transformative role of tourism.
The tournament was inaugurated by NATTA President Kumar Mani Thapaliya, who highlighted the significance of sports as a unifying activity that fosters camaraderie among industry professionals. Joining the celebration was the CEO of the Nepal Tourism Board, Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, who later presented medals and certificates to winners and participants, showing his support for tourism and its vibrant community.
With all NATTA board members in attendance, the event was flawlessly coordinated by Mr. Dhak Nath Kafle. Sixteen teams from diverse organizations took part, embodying the spirit of friendly competition that World Tourism Day aims to inspire.
