The Third NATTA Special Program – 2012 organized on last Saturday, the 22nd September, to mark the upcoming 33rd World Tourism Day has concluded very successfully. The program held in the premises of Army Officers’ Club drew the gathering of all NATTA members including past tourism ministers and secretaries, Excellencies representing foreign embassies and high level officials from concerned government and non-government authorities. Quite a number of business houses and travel agents had also displayed their products as exhibitors at the event venue.
This program had begun in the afternoon with grand opening jointly done by NATTA President and executive body, Tourism Secretary, former IGP, DG of Civil Aviation Authority Nepal, Managing Director of Nepal Airlines and Rev. Ani Choying Drolma. Ani then presented two melodious songs expressing her longing for everlasting peace and wishing solemnly a bright future for Nepalese tourism industry as Inaugural songs. Earlier, NATTA President Mr. Pavitra Kumar Karki had delivered his short welcome speech. He also expressed his profound thanks on behalf of NATTA to the Int’l airlines, business houses, NATTA members, Gorkha Brewery and all those involved in organizing the event. Awards of lucky draws were given away to the winners of lucky draw at the spot by the country managers and representatives of int’l airlines.
Various cultural programs presented on the stage by renowned artistes turned the evening a very musical one tempting number of jolly participants dance on the floor.
The Third NATTA Special Program-2012 ended with a dinner hosted by NATTA at the event venue.

The above two more NATTA events will be taking place on 27th Sept and 29th Sept respectively. The following is the timing and venue for the events:
Blood Donation ; 0930 hrs to 1330 hrs on 27th Sept at the premises of Goma Ganesh Temple, Gairidhara (adjacent to NATTA Secretariat)
Table Tennis Competition ; 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs at NSC Covered Hall, Lainchour on Saturday the 29th September 2012.
