In regard to the free visa and ticket provision given to outbound workers that came to effect from July 2015, local ticketing agencies have been exhibiting their resentment over it as they are likely to loose their ticketing business.
Hence, a joint meeting with ticketing agents was held at NATTA Secretariat in the presence of NATTA Executives Mr. Chitra Bahadur Gurung, Treasurer, Mrs. Sabita Bhattarai K.C, Jt. Treasurer and Mr. Binay Basnet, Executive Member on 1st March 2016, Tuesday to brainstorm on the issue and find amicable solutions.
After the discussions, the meeting then concluded with the agreement that, credits be given by agents to agents in Nepal. A mechanism has to be created for Credit Control through system.
