A joint meeting of APJC and IATA & Aviation Committee was held at NATTA Secretariat on 8th March 2016, Tuesday in the chairmanship of Mr. Binay Basnet, Chairperson for the both committees.
Several issues faced by IATA Accredited members were raised in the meeting. After several discussions, meeting with concluded with the following some of the solutions:
To ease the IATA Payment, NATTA will request concerned banks to open for 1 extra hour on the IATA payment day. In addition, NATTA will request for the payment of IATA to be made online in coordination with IATA and concerned banks in further coming days.
Also, meeting with BARN to be arranged soon regarding settling of IATA Weekly Remittances.
