Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) organized a Cycle Rally and Futsal on 9th and Blood Donation program on 11th September 2017 in partnership with Qatar Airways in Kathmandu, on the occasion of the World Tourism Day 2017. There was an active participation from NATTA Members, Airlines and GDS at all the events.
Cycle Rally started from NATTA Secretariat, meandered through Chakrapath Maharajgunj and reached Budhanilakantha where all cyclists gathered for clean-up campaign at the temple premise. Returning from Budhanilakantha, the rally participants assembled at Dhanwantari futsal, Dhumbarahi where the Futsal tournament took place.
A total of 12 Teams including two exclusively Lady Teams participated in the Futsal. Liberty Holidays secured the Winner Trophy and Travel United stood First Runner Up. In Lady’s Team, Sabre Travel Network won the medal while Oman Air stood second.
On 11th September, Blood Donation program was organized at the premises of NATTA Secretariat from 10:00 am to 2:00pm. NATTA Executives and members also donated blood along with other donors. The total number of donors was recorded to be 50. NATTA gave away Certificate of Appreciation to the donors.
All the events were coordinated by Chairman of NATTA Sports and Entertainment Committee and Executive Member Mr. Yubaraj Subedi.
