Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) Delegation including Council of NATTA Past Presidents and NATTA Executive Board visited Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Singhadurbar on 5th August 2019 to meet and congratulate newly appointed Tourism Minister Hon’ble Mr. Yogesh Bhattarai.
On the meet, the delegation felicitated with the Bouquet, Khada and Congratulatory frame to the Minister. NATTA also handed over the 12 point Suggestions along with the current issues being faced in the tourism sector to Hon’ble Minister which included the sooner completion of two Airports, initiate the process of issuing online visa to tourists, and open an express counter at the TIA immigration section, 24 hour operation of the airport in order to facilitate airlines and passengers. The letter also urged the government to operate the Tribhuvan International Airport with its full capacity etc.
The delegation visited MoCTCA included Past Presidents Mr. RR Pandey, Mr. RM Singh Pradhan, Mrs. Ambica Shrestha, Mr. Durba N. Shrestha, Mr. Ram Kaji Koney, Mr. Arjun Prasad Sharma. Likewise NATTA Executive Delegation included President Mr. CN Pandey, IPP Mr. Madhusudan Acharya, Senior Vice President Mr. Achyut Guragain, Vice President Mrs. Sangita Jirel Bade, Secretary General Mr. Ramesh Thapa, Secretary Mrs. Sabita KC, Jt. Treasurer Mr. Surendra Bhattarai, Executive Members Mr. Raju Dhakal, Mr. Ramesh Paudel, Mr. Sudarshan Nepal, Ms. Debaki Gurung, Mr. Shreeram Pandey. And CEO Mr, Jeev Raj Ghimire and COO Ms. Shradha Chhetri from Secretariat.
Introducing Hon’ble Mr. Bhattarai, he is an elected member of the House of Representatives from Taplejung district. Having started his political career as a student leader, Bhattarai is currently NCP’s publicity department chief.
