NATTA issuing a Press Release has strongly objected to the Government’s decision to increase airport service charges to Rs 3,000 per passenger. This increase in tariff is likely to adversely affect the Nepalese tourism industry which is gradually picking up its pace following the COVID-19 pandemic. NATTA has demanded an immediate reversal of the Government’s decision and that such decisions should not be taken without consultation with all the stakeholders.
