The team was farewelled by NATTA President Mr. Kumar Mani Thapaliya and the Executive Board at TIA. NATTA held a meeting with representatives from the World Bank on 27th October 2025 at the NATTA Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by NATTA President Mr. Kumar Mani Thapaliya, and attended by NATTA Executive Board Members, along with Mrs. Sachiko Kataoka and Mrs. Jasmine Rajbhandary from the World Bank. The discussion focused on the Consultation Meeting for the Greater Lumbini Area Development (GLAD) Project, exploring collaborative opportunities to promote sustainable tourism and regional development in the Lumbini area.
NATTA organized a pre-briefing session on 26th October 2025 at the NATTA Secretariat in preparation for BTTF 2025, which will be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 30th October to 1st November 2025. The program is jointly organized by NATTA and the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and is coordinated by NATTA Executive Member Mrs. Shradha Joshi. Nepal Tourism Board, in collaboration with NATTA Centre and NATTA Madhesh, organized a 3-day training on “Developing Package for Tour” from 23rd to 25th June 2025 at Hotel Makalu, Birgunj. The training aimed to build the capacity of tourism professionals in Madhesh Pradesh to design effective and market-ready travel packages. Expert trainers Mr. Vinaya Shakya and Mr. Ram Kumar Puri led the sessions, sharing valuable insights and practical approaches. Ms. Jiswan Tuladhar Shrestha, Senior Vice President of NATTA, and Mr. Mohan Sharma, President of NATTA Madhesh Province, were present to support and engage with participants throughout the program.

On 27th March 2025, NATTA organized an interaction program on the ‘Impact of VAT on Airfare’ with key tourism stakeholders. The discussion focused on the challenges posed by the 13% VAT on air tickets and its negative impact on Nepal’s tourism sector. In collaboration with NTB, NATTA conducted a study through H.K.S.D. Associates, revealing that VAT has significantly increased airfare costs, reduced Nepal’s competitiveness, and negatively affected travel businesses
