NATTA led Nepalese tourism trade delegates successfully concluded Nepal tourism promotional campaign, Nepal-China Sales Mission, in four major cities of China – Beijing, Changsha, Guangzhou and Chengdu.
This year a total number of 22 participants representing 15 various travel enterprises including tour and travel, hotels and trekking took part in the mission. The mission adhered to single modus operandi in all the four cities. The program usually continued for three to four hours beginning with welcome address by Coordinator for Nepal China Sales Mission and NATTA Executive Member Mr. Sudarshan Nepal followed by Presentation on Nepal’s cultural and natural heritages by Manager of Nepal Tourism Board Ms. Shradhha Shrestha. And the program continued with B2B sessions.
The sessions in each four cities had the presence of more than 100 invitees including travel tour operators and media that made an opportunity to connect with all the Nepalese travel trade entrepreneurs. The invitees collected various information as to how the potential travelers to Nepal could make their trip relatively easier and comfortable.
The Nepalese business delegates have unanimously expressed their satisfaction over the preparations and logistics arranged. NTB Officer Mrs. Janaki Upadhyay and NATTA Executive Member Ms. Geeta Dhakal had participated as Subcordinator for the event.
Nepal China Sales Mission held in the capital city of China, Beijing, the historic city of Changsha, the third biggest city, Guangzhou and lastly Capital of Sichuan Province, Chengdu ended with an overwhelming response from the city’s travel trade companies and media. NATTA is thankful to Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, Consulate General of Nepal in Guangzhou and Nepal Tourism Board for the support provided to make this Mission a success.
NATTA has been promoting Nepal in China on regular basis with the support of NTB for the last several years.
