Nepal Association of Travels and Tour Agents (NATTA) had taken an initiative to make Nepal-Japan flight launched by Nepal Airlines Corporation more effective and long-lasting. NATTA organized an Interaction program with major tour operators, ticketing agents and Airlines at Hotel Shangri La on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 to collect suggestions from different tour agents on making Japan’s Osaka flights effective.
Most of the speakers speaking at the program suggested that NAC should make feasible packages for Osaka flights with competitive airfare, emphasizing on appropriate digital marketing attracting major agents from Japan and setting up separate desks for Japan and mobilizing great team for marketing.
President of NATTA, Mr. CN Pandey, on the program said that Japan’s tourism market is highly potential for Nepal and adding the corporation’s Osaka flight should be emphasized not only with the financial terms but also to establish the identity of the country. He advised that the Corporation should formulate clear plans for increasing cooperation with the stakeholders and related bodies. He also mentioned that there is no possibility that profitability would be gained immediately after starting a business so that they should focus on long term policies.
Similarly, Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board, emphasized the need for tourism promotion. He also emphasized that the national flag carrier’s connectivity should be given priority in order to make the promotional programs of Nepal a grand success.
Mr. Tanka Nidhi Dahal, Corporate Director of NAC said the situation in the meanwhile indicated that the corporation’s flight to Osaka will be effective and successful. He also informed that preparations are underway to set up the corporation’s desks in Japan and expressed his strong commitment to make appropriate business plans in the coming days in matters relating to our prestigious national flag carrier, Nepal Airlines Corporation.
