Hotel Association Nepal organized a meeting on 15th October 2014 at HAN Secretariat with NATTA, NATTO, TAAN, NMA & PATA. The purpose of the meeting was to plan a national symposium on “2 Million Tourists by 2020”. HAN explained that extra 1600 room nights will be added in Kathmandu in near future and it is therefore very important that we work towards increasing the number of incoming tourists in Nepal.
The meeting decided that a core team be formed with the Secretary General of all the above associations to work on the planning and organizing the National Symposium on “2 Million Tourists by 2020”.
Presented in the meeting from NATTA were Mr. C. N. Pandey, 2nd VP, Ms. Mihika Dhakhwa, Secretary General, Mr.Narayan Koney Gurung, Treasurer, Mr. Ramesh Thapa, Secretary, Ms. Jiswan Tuladhar, Joint Treasurer, & Executive Members Ms. Sabita KC and Mr. Yubraj Subedi.
