A meeting with Outbound Tour Committee was held at NATTA Secretariat on 22nd April 2019 to discuss on the VAT issues raised by outbound tour operators.
The meeting was chaired by 2nd Vice President Ms. Sangita Jirel Bade and Chairperson of Outbound Committee Mr. Shree Ram Pandey. The participants in the meeting stressed on the mode of VAT payment to the Government that has arisen issues on their daily operation.
2nd VP Mrs. Bade at the meeting informed that all the raised valid issues of VAT/Tax on Tours including both Outbound as well as Inbound has been addressed in the Recommendations for the upcoming budget of the year FY 2076-77 prepared by NATTA which is believed to have an impeccable solutions. The Recommendations for budget was submitted to Internal Revenue Department (IRD) and FNCCI.
NATTA has been frequently participating in meetings called by IRD and FNCCI to give the inputs on the issues faced by travel trade.
