Kathmandu, Nepal – June 13, 2024
The Nepal Association of Travel and Tour Agents (NATTA) and the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a collaborative relationship to promote tourism in both Nepal and Bangladesh.
Under the motto, “From Summit to Sea”, the MOU reflects the commitment of NATTA and TOAB to work together to promote the rich and diverse tourism offerings of Nepal and Bangladesh. By combining the strengths of both countries, the parties aim to create unique travel experiences that attract tourists from around the world.
The MOU outlines several areas of cooperation, including organizing familiarization tours, jointly hosting conferences and seminars, collaborating on marketing campaigns, promoting Buddhist archaeological sites, exchanging tourism-related information, and building capacity through training programs and workshops.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Kumar Mani Thapaliya, President of NATTA, and Ms. Yubika Bhandari, Secretary General of NATTA, Mr. MD. Rafeuzzaman, President of TOAB, and Dr. MD. Taslim Amin Shovon, Director (Trade & Fair) of TOAB.
