At the end of the program President Limbu urged that the planners must consider implementing the small infrastructural requirements before drawing ambitious plans and programs. He said for the promotion of tourism in sectors like Lumbini & Chitwan, we need to ply standard coaches and transports for the tourists but the strong hold of local transport syndicates do impede such steps being taken by the private sector tourism entrepreneurs. So, government must first lift such syndicate system and ease the tourist buses to run without any hassle. Likewise, the air services of NA too needs to be improved and made more credible and punctual. Prof. Hari Sarmah had participated in the meeting in the capacity of being a member of the TechnicalAdvisory Group (TAG). SATIDP will present its final report to the GON within a month.
