“Destination Restoration and Motivation Seminar” organized by Samarth-NMDP— funded by UKAID- on November 20th, Friday as a step towards resurrecting the Tourism Industry by learning to create opportunities in the time of crisis. This event was part of providing training to tour operators, travel agents, trekking agencies, tourist hoteliers, government officials etc. in their business skills during crisis period. The programme was facilitated by social entrepreneur Anil Chitrakar, while the motivational speech was delivered by Ranjit Acharya on thinking out of the box and grabbing opportunities in the time of crisis and positive mindset and attitude. Later on the day, Dr David Beirman (an expert on tourism risk, crisis and recovery marketing) from University of Technology, Sydney Australia, made a presentation titled ‘Destination Restoration in Nepal – A World’s Best Practice Strategic Approach’.
NATTA Team also had a strong participation on the motivational workshop.
