NATTA Bhaskar: Six Decades of Honouring Pioneers
Instituted by NATTA to honour individuals who have rendered unparalleled service to the development, promotion, and institutionalization of tourism in Nepal. Conferred biennially during the NATTA Annual Convention, the Bhaskar medal represents the pinnacle of private-sector recognition.

NATTA Bhaskar Award

Conferred to international tour operators, national tourism boards, and global airlines that have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to bringing global travelers to Nepal.
NATTA Tourism Journalism Award
Awarded to investigative journalists, editors, and media organizations that produce incisive reporting on tourism policy, heritage conservation, and aviation reform.
Excellence in Inbound Tourism
Recognizing tour operators who have achieved remarkable growth in inbound tourist arrivals and foreign exchange earnings for Nepal.
Adventure Tourism Excellence
Awarded to adventure tourism operators who demonstrate exceptional safety standards, innovative products, and sustainable practices.
Heritage Conservation Award
Honoring individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to preserving Nepal cultural and natural heritage sites.
How Award Nominees Are Evaluated
1. Open Call for Nominations: The NATTA Secretariat issues an official circular 90 days prior to the National Convention inviting members, airlines, and media to submit nominations.
2. Jury Scrutiny: A 5-member independent Evaluation Committee evaluates documentary evidence, foreign exchange remittances, client feedback, and statutory compliance.
3. Board Ratification: The final awardees are ratified by the Central Executive Committee and announced during the Grand Diamond Jubilee Convention.
