President's Message

Vision, strategic priorities, and institutional commitment to Nepal's travel private sector for the 2026–2028 tenure.

Official Presidential Address•Tenure 2026 – 2028

Building an Inclusive, Innovative, and Member-Oriented NATTA

“The mandate entrusted to us is both an honor and a responsibility that we accept with determination, accountability, and a strong commitment to serving the interests of our members.”

Distinguished Members, Esteemed Tourism Stakeholders, and International Partners,

It is with great honor and a profound sense of responsibility that I extend my sincere gratitude to all esteemed members of the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) for placing your trust and confidence in me and my fellow colleagues to serve the Association for the term 2026–2028. On behalf of the Executive Committee, I assure you that we will work collectively, transparently, and diligently to strengthen NATTA and further enhance its role as a leading voice of Nepal's travel and tourism industry.

For nearly six decades, NATTA has remained an integral part of Nepal's tourism journey, representing travel and tour operators while contributing to the professional development and growth of the industry. As the global tourism landscape continues to evolve through digital transformation, changing traveler expectations, emerging markets, sustainability, and new business opportunities, NATTA must also continue to evolve.

During our tenure, our executive team is focused on five fundamental commitments:

  • Strengthening Member Services & Welfare: Enhancing responsive administrative support, digital portal access, and institutional advocacy for over 1,100 member agencies.
  • Tax & Policy Advocacy: Proactively coordinating with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation, Inland Revenue Department (IRD), and Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) for sound fiscal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Capacity Building & Skills Training: Expanding technical workshops in IATA NDC, digital marketing, cybersecurity, and product packaging across all provinces.
  • International Market Promotion: Leading strategic buyer delegations at major global and regional travel fairs (FITUR, BTTF, WTM) and hosting signature B2B travel marts.
  • Decentralized Provincial Outreach: Empowering provincial executive bodies and local chapters to highlight regional tourist corridors.

The strength of NATTA has always been its members, and the progress of the Association depends upon our collective effort, unity, and cooperation. I therefore call upon all NATTA members and tourism stakeholders to join us in shaping a progressive and prosperous future for the Association and the industry we represent.

Together, let us move forward with unity, purpose, innovation, and a shared vision for a stronger NATTA and a more vibrant Nepalese tourism industry.
