Clean & Green for Sustainable Tourism: NATTA’s World Tourism Day Initiative
NATTA Clean & Green Campaign | World Tourism Day 2026
On the occasion of the 47th World Tourism Day 2026, Nepal Association of Tour & Travel Agents (NATTA) has started its special two-day campaign under the themes “Nepal Calling” and “Nepal is Open.”
As part of the campaign, under the leadership of NATTA President Mr. Bharat Jung Pandey, NATTA successfully organized the NATTA Clean & Green Campaign on 26 September 2026 at the Shivapuri–Nagarjun National Park Corridor, covering the Budhanilkantha–Tokha–Chandeshwori area.
The campaign was inaugurated by renowned artist and actor Mr. Hari Bansha Acharya, whose presence and active participation added special significance to the initiative. More than 50 participants, including NATTA Executive Members, NATTA members, tourism professionals, Nepal Police volunteers, past presidents and association partners, came together to clean the area and promote the message of nature conservation, heritage preservation and sustainable tourism.
NATTA believes that protecting our natural surroundings and heritage is an integral part of promoting Nepal as a responsible and sustainable tourism destination.
The Clean & Green Campaign was supported by Frontline Hospital, providing medical equipment and ambulance support for the program.
NATTA extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in and supported the NATTA Clean & Green Campaign.
Let us protect nature, respect our heritage and make tourism a foundation for prosperity.
