Few agenda were addressed and discussed at the preparatory meeting in February, here in Nepal. Out of many issues discussed various agenda such as: Leave Travel Concession (LTC), Bilateral Equality in Privileges / facilities, Joint Promotion in Buddhist Circuit and Hindu Circuit has been streamlined as priority.
Nepal India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI) requested a time with NATTA to draw out specific issues to be deliberated at the JWG Meeting. While sharing NATTA’s view in the meeting held at NATTA Secretariat on 7 th February, 1 st Vice President Mr. Achyut Sharma Guragain emphasized Indian Tourists visiting Nepal's major entry points, Security check posts and information counters, cross border security, extension of private vehicle for at least 10-15 days in a reciprocal basis so that both tourists from India and Nepal can benefit.
