Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) and All China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) have agreed to enhance mutual friendship and cooperation. An agreement to this effect was signed by NATTA President Madhusudan Acharya and China Chamber of Tourism Vice President Hao Xukuan. The MOU was signed in the presence of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Bhawani Rana and Vice President of All China Federation of Industry and Commerce Xie Jingrong on the sidelines of the 14th conference of Nepal-China Non-Governmental Cooperation Forum in Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu, 25th May 2017.
The working paper presented by both sides stressed on the importance of increasing tourism activities with China in the near future and has cleared ways for promoting investment. Officials of both NATTA and China Tourism Chamber have said that there is a huge opportunity for Nepal and China to work together in trade and tourism, among other sectors. Likewise, the ACFIC has also pledged to support Nepal in China Sales Mission being held in four different Chinese cities viz., Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Beijing. NATTA, in collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Nepalese Embassy at Beijing, is organizing China Sales Mission from June 7 through June 17.
