In regard to the Monetary Policy for the F/Y 2074/75, Nepal Rastra Bank organized an interaction program on 19th June 2017 at Hotel Yak & Yeti.

President of NATTA, Mr. Madhusudan Acharya and Treasurer Mr. Chitra B. Gurung participated in the interaction program. NATTA has sent a four point suggestion to NRB for inclusion in the new fiscal policy of the central Bank. The suggestions include facilitation to the pilgrims to Kailash Mansarovar by increasing the limit of exchange facility. Secondly, investors willing to invest in tourism infrastructures in remote places and places with tourism potentialities be granted soft loans. Thirdly, travel, trekking and rafting agencies earning Forex be provided with incentives to expand their businesses and lastly, NATTA has urged that the renewal fees for obtaining Foreign Exchange certificates be removed.
