As a part of Kailash Sacred Landscape (KSL) Conservation and Development Initiative, a one day consultative workshop on promoting Trans-boundary tourism (heritage and ecotourism) in Humla Limi valley was held on 5th July 2017 at Hotel Himalaya. The workshop was organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Forest and Soil Conservation and Research Centre for Applied Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University with technical support from The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development.

The objectives of the workshop were to Share and validate key heritage and ecotourism information on Humla, Limi valley and KSL, identifying challenges &opportunities for multi-stakeholder collaborations for trans-boundary tourism and action plans for collaborative trans-boundary tourism promotion.

The meeting was participated in by key experts and community representatives from Limi and Humla as well as tourism stakeholders. NATTA Executive Member, Mr. Furi Geljen Sherpa participated in the program.
