Strengthening Pokhara–Dubai Air Connectivity

On 24 August, a group led by NATTA President Mr. Bharat emphasized the need to strengthen international air connectivity from Pokhara, particularly through the Pokhara–Dubai route, to support the sustainable growth of Nepal’s tourism industry.

NATTA recognizes Pokhara’s strategic importance as a major tourism gateway and believes that reliable international air connectivity is essential to attracting more international visitors, expanding tourism markets, and promoting Pokhara as an international destination.

NATTA urged concerned stakeholders and authorities to work collaboratively toward ensuring regular and sustainable international flight operations from Pokhara while addressing the practical challenges faced by airlines and tourism businesses.

Stronger air connectivity from Pokhara would not only benefit the city and surrounding destinations but also contribute significantly to Nepal’s overall tourism development, regional connectivity, and economic growth.
